billbil-kun just posted a cryptic message about GTA VI, which may well be linked to a rumor we shared months ago – and which could make many fans who love physical formats -and don’t want them to disappear- very happy. At least whilst there’s still hope.

Here’s the latest tweet:

As we know, billbil always has first-hand, exclusive information, and this information often concerns prices, game editions, and other similar topics.

That’s why the fact that he’s used the tweet to pair GTA 6 with an icon of a physical disc is, to say the least, suspicious.

But if we look back, in June at VGLeaks we reported on a rumour suggesting, precisely, that a physical version of GTA 6 could be released in December. What’s more, billbil also uses a palm tree icon (holidays? Christmas?)

The source in that report had already revealed that the game would initially only be available digitally, before later adding this option… and now bilbil has posted this.

Will we be hearing news about a physical version of GTA 6 soon?
