Yesterday Rockstar confirmed one of the latest rumors concerning Grand Theft Auto Online: there will be paid-for cash packs and microtransactions in GTA Online.
Play testers of GTA V’s multiplayer mode are confirming all this info and state that players will be able to buy different currency packs with real life money in order to purchase in-game money.
Here you can see the real life prices
- $100,000 Red Shark Cash Card – £1.99
- $200,000 Tiger Shark Cash Card – £3.49
- $500,000 Bull Shark Cash Card – £6.99
- $1,250,000 Great White Shark Cash Card – £13.49
Unfortunately, only UK prices have been revealed. We will have to wait until Rockstar confirms all the info.
Keep in mind that money amounts in GTA Online do not correspond with that of GTA 5’s single-player mode. For example, you can buy a car for $1 million in the game’s single-player mode, but the same car will cost like $150,000 in GTA Online.
Thanks, Eurogamer.
