Rumor: Mario Maker to be announced for 3DS at E3 2014

According to an alleged leaked image from the expo show floor -still under construction, Nintendo will unveil Mario Maker for 3DS at E3.

Initially, the image was taken as a fake, however Polygon’s Michael McWhertor seems to be quite confident about this rumor:

In fact, if you remember, a few weeks ago we reported that Nintendo would reveal a big new 3DS game at E3.

Mario Maker for 3DS seems to be some kind of game where players are able to create their own Mario game stages using a 3DS stylus.

E3 2014 will start on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, and end on Thursday, June 12, 2014.
