We have info on the next Assassin’s Creed game, and it’s juicy information as it doesn’t follow the usual path.
According to Bloomberg and Eurogamer, the next Assassin’s Creed game will be released in late 2022, or early 2023, and it won’t be a huge open-world RPG like the previous games, but it will be a game with less scale, set in Baghdad and focused on stealth gameplay.
But that’s not the end of the information. Apparently, this Assassin’s Creed will feature Balim (AC: Valhalla) as the main character. Initially, the game was going to be an expansion of AC Valhalla. However, it seems that Ubisoft finally opted to turn it into a standalone title.
In fact, this game would be released before the much-rumored Assassin’s Creed Infinity and would help fill the time before the release of the big change in the series that AC Infinity is supposed to bring.
Bloomberg: Ubisoft has turned an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion into a standalone title last year, featuring Basim and a smaller scope than usual mainline AC titles
