After the disappointing reception of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in both sales and critical response, it seems Rocksteady might be returning to what they do best—single-player games.

According to Shpeshal Nick, the studio is currently working on a new Batman game. While the nature of the project remains unclear, many hope it will follow the single-player formula that made their previous Batman titles so successful.

Additionally, Sony is reportedly in talks for some form of exclusivity or special deal related to this new Batman game, though no concrete details have surfaced yet.

The last major Batman release, Batman: Arkham Knight, hit shelves in 2015, and fans have eagerly awaited the caped crusader’s return. However, it’s important to note that Warner Bros. had previously expressed interest in focusing more on live-service games, so there’s some concern this new Batman project could take that route.
