We have been hearing for some time that the Sly Cooper saga may be coming back to us. Sly Cooper 5 has been rumored for quite some time now, that’s nothing new.
What is new, however, is that in addition to accounts like AccountNGT (@accngt) claiming that Sly Cooper 5 is in active development, the saga’s website has also been updated over the past few days.
This obviously fuels the rumors of Sly Cooper’s return, although it would seem that this return would not be developed by the original team, Sucker Punch, as they are busy with the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.
According to AccountNGT‘s sources, the reveal of Sly Cooper 5 would take place during the second half of 2022, always looking for an announcement this year, being the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first Sly Cooper video game.
According to a source, for Sly, they are aiming for a reveal for the second half of 2022. Which makes sense since later this year is Sly’s 20th anniversary. https://t.co/TsO3nf8Ofx

To refresh our memory, we haven’t had a Sly Cooper videogame since 2013, when Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3, PS Vita) was released.
Stay tuned.
