Monkey Ball was launched initially for arcades in 2001, but the most of us discover the franchise with its GameCube version, Super Monkey Ball. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz for PS Vita was the last entry in the license for ordinary devices, but the real last one was Bounce for iOS and Android. The Monkeys could do a comeback.
SEGA has registered Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball in Japan. Tabegoro means ripe, in season or good to eat. If we are lucky, this registration could turn in a new game for current systems.
