Square Enix trademarks Dawn Engine in Europe

Square Enix has filed a trademark for Dawn Engine in Europe. It seems that this trademark does not have a Japanese counterpart and the Internet has begun speculating about the true nature of Dawn Engine.

Some think that the trademark could, in fact, be a new engine which will replace the famous Luminous Engine, others think that this could be a trademark related with Eidos… The only sure thing is that we will have to wait until Square Enix comment on this.
