Square Enix trademarked Valkyrie Elysium in Japan a few weeks ago. Concretely, S-E filed English and Japan trademarks for Valkyrie Elysium back on September 16.
The last game in the Valkyrie Profile series, Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin, was released for Android and iOS back in 2016 in Japan. A worldwide release had to wait until 2019.
We don’t know if this trademark means that Square Enix is developing a new Valkyrie Profile game for consoles or if, like last time, it will be a mobile game. Nor do we know who would be developing it.
