Apparently, Sony is sending out Battlefield: Hardline PlayStation 4 Beta invites to the PlayStation fans attending Sony’s “PlayStation E3 Experience” at selected cinemas in the US.

Sony promised an “exclusive PlayStation surprise” to the fans, and some of them are reporting have been emailed a PlayStation 4 Beta code for Battlefield: Hardline. This PS4 beta is called the ‘Omaha Demo‘, will include two new game modes, a map called High Tension and the company claims this is “one of the first” opportunities to try the game.

“Be one of the first to live out your fantasy as a cop or criminal where you’ll hunt and raid vaults in two new game modes on the High Tension map. Here is your PS4 Access Code to download the Beta.”

However, the access code does not appear in the email, so it’s possible that Sony made a mistake and will be sending the code at a later date.

As if this were not enough, leaked Battlefield: Hardline PC beta footage has appeared online.

The video, courtesy of YouTube user Freddy Dancer, shows a lone player exploring empty areas located in what appears to be down town Los Angeles. Unfortunately, because this is a leak we are not able to watch a live match in progress.

The action begins at about four minutes.

If the video is taken down, you can download it here.
