Earlier today, Sony filed trademark for “Vib Ribbon” in Europe. Originally, Vib-Ribbon was a rhythm video game released for Sony PlayStation developed by Masaya Matsuura (former leader of the Japanese “Hyper Pop Unit” PSY S) and his NanaOn-Sha company.
The game, in the style of PaRappa the Rapper, was unique at that time since allowed the player to use any music CD to play against. Vib-Ribbon generated a unique level from any track where the player had to avoid different obstacles.
Apart from this, Sony mentioned Vib Ribbon a couple of times during the conference at E3 2014. Judge for yourself
