Bethesda registers 'Fallout: Shadow of Boston' and 'Fallout: Ultimate Collection'

On October 27, Fallout: Shadow of Boston trademark was filed by Bethesda Softworks to the German Patent and Trademark Office. Rumors about the next Fallout game have been appearing for a while, even Fallout 4: Shadows of Boston was spotted on IMDB earlier this year.

The trademark would confirm that it would take place in Boston, as an anonymous Reddit user anticipated back in 2012:

In case you haven’t heard, Bethesda has recently been scoping out and researching Boston. They also have a strong connection to MIT. I may or may not be an MIT employee. But that’s really all I can say for fear of losing my job.

Furthermore, the trademark description also reads “auditioning for TV game shows“, so this ‘Fallout: Shadow of Boston’ may be related to television and end up being some kind of TV series spin-off, as many are speculating.

Finally, Bethesda has also registered ‘Fallout: Ultimate Collection’ in Germany, so expect a remaster or a bundle of previous Fallout titles.
