Rumor: New Assassin's Creed locations revealed?

Darby McDevitt, the writer behind Assassin Creed saga, recently said on a panel at Comic-Con and Twitter that new games could cover other places and eras.

He gave two examples in the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter page of new games in the franchise that could appear in a near future. One could happen in modern age and another could happen in Feudal Japan.

One of the main attractives in Ubisoft’s franchise is to visit exotic and famous past events or eras, so it will not surprise that the Shogunate era could be a future location in the series.
