Update: According to GameZone, GTA Online could support microtransactions.
1880 (a reddit user) has found that the GTA Online store points to a XML file that references to something called “Cash Cards”. $100,00, $200,00, $500,00 and $1,250,000 cards would be available for the user.
We can also see in the file the description for each of the four Cash Cards:
Cash is king in this town. Solve your money problems and help get what you want across Los Santos and Blaine County with the purchase of cash packs for Grand Theft Auto Online
All purchased cash is automatically deposited into your character’s bank account. Spend wisely, cash therapy is fleeting.

Grand Theft Auto V has grossed more of 1.000 million of dollars since the game was officially released last Tuesday. Shocking numbers, but Rockstar has an ace up in its sleeve yet, Grand Theft Auto Online. This game will be available October 1 and some details upon game modes and player count have been leaked. Details for GTA Online: Game modes:
- Cops and Crooks
- Free For All
- Races
- Team Deathmatch
Players: 16 players at once. There are references for 32 players, but these numbers could be related with the highly rumored PS4 & PC versions of GTA V (more coding and assets have been found within the companion app “iFruit” for iOS and Android) instead of the current available versions of GTA V.
Missions: 500, available when GTA Online will be launched. These missions could be interwoven with some roles and game modes. For instance, if you are a cop, your mission will be stopping an assassination. As a Crook you will have to perpetrate the assassination. Furthermore, cops could use a scanner to check license plates in order to verify if one car has been stolen or not. Even you will be able to assign a squad car to come and arrest the suspects.
Thanks MP1st.
