PS5 controller appears in patent images

Today, the Japanese patent office website published some info coming from the PlayStation’s manufacturer. This info is nothing more and nothing less than PlayStation 5 new controller images and schemes.

As confirmed by Sony via an article on Wired one month ago, in these pictures we can see a controller that is very similar to Dualshock 4 but with some subtle (and important) changes.

The following images compare the new controller (left) with Dualshock 4 (right)

We can see some changes here:

• Slightly smaller sticks
• Larger -and adaptive- triggers
• Light bar removed
• USB-C port for charging

Also, as you may already know, the PS5 controller will feature haptic and larger-capacity battery.
