PlayStation Productions is working on the transition of different PlayStation IPs to the movie and series environment. Right now, a Ghost of Tsushima film is in development for John Wick’s director, the Uncharted movie with Tom Holland ended the shot process months ago and there are two series based on The Last of Us and Twisted Metal in development as well.

Demon’s Souls was the game that started a new cult and a new type of game with challenge designs and very defining mechanics and rules. Now, a movie based in this dark phantasy game could be in development according to Giantfreaking Robot, a media that whispered some accurate rumors before. There is not more info ahead the confirmation of the movie based on Demon’s Souls, but, apparently, Sony is very interested to produce a film based on this IP.

News are great, but we need to confirm something first from the people involved in this in order to play with expectations.
