Rumors from a new Mafia are always welcome and the information about a specific point is great. Nick from XboxEra has spilled the beans about a possible Mafia 4. Details:

  • The game would be set in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
  • The plot could take place in Sicily.
  • Don Salieri from Mafia 1 is apparently, the protagonist. Therefore, the title is a prequel of the original trilogy.
  • The title will be more linear than Mafia 3, according to Nick.

I hope the game has a scope like the first two games that proposed an adventure in a great prop instead of offering an open world. In Mafia 1 and 2 the world is just an excuse to set the excellent narrative.
