DigiTimes claims that Nintendo will release a new model of Switch hardware in mid-2020. This new Switch model would feature a better CPU and a magnesium alloy body, instead of the plastic we’ve seen in every revision. The info comes from sources from the “related upstream supply chain” and also claim that this Switch revision will begin volume production at the end of Q1 2020.
In the past DigiTimes published rumors that came up as being true, but also published others that were not fulfilled (mostly rumors regarding dates), so be careful with this information.
