We woke up today with a very powerful rumor. According to the Taiwanese website Digitimes, a new PS5 model will go into production in 2022. The new model will feature a redesign of the console that will also bring news in terms of its components.
The rumor claims that semiconductor suppliers such as TSMC have confirmed that they will produce this PS5 revision between the second and third quarters of 2022.
The new PlayStation model 5 will feature a new “semi-customized” 6NM CPU from AMD (the current one features 7NM), which will be, supposedly, cheaper to produce.
