Rumor: Telltale Games developing Game of Thrones videogame

Multiple sources have told IGN that Telltale Games is currently developing a game based on George R.R. Martin’s book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, better known as the HBO show Game of Thrones.

It’s still unclear which story line the game will use, but probably we will see several “seasons” of the game. Telltale is already using that strategy with The Walking Dead, another of its licensed games.

Last month, Telltale CEO Dan Connors said that Telltale “can’t wait” to announce its upcoming projects, and hinted that they were working on a few licenses that “definitely fall into our dream IP scenario.”

Personally, I want Telltale to structure the game as the books, where we are able to watch the story from a different character’s point of view in each chapter.
