During E3 2014, Sony announced that PlayStation TV -known in Japan as PlayStation Vita TV- would be released in North America and Europe in Q3 2014.
PlayStation TV is a small device that connects to a television via HDMI and allows to play PlayStation Vita, PSP games, and supports Remote Play compatibility with the PlayStation 4, allowing players to stream games from the PlayStation 4 to a separate TV connected to PlayStation TV. Furthermore, PlayStation Vita will play PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 games via cloud-based streaming service PlayStation Now, and will also allow users to stream content from video services such as Hulu and Niconico.
As we said, Sony announced that PS TV was coming to the West this year, but the company did not provide a release date.
This seems to be not a problem for Amazon, as the retailer has listed PlayStation TV for a launch on November 30 with a price of $99.
Furthermore, the previously announced PlayStation TV bundle has also been listed. The pack will include a PlayStation TV device along with a DualShock 3 controller, an 8GB memory card and a digital voucher of the blockbuster hit The LEGO Movie Videogame for $139.
