Following Microsoft’s purchase of Activision, there has been much speculation about the policies Microsoft will pursue with their new IPs.
Both for its multiplatform policy (it is rumored that the next Doom will also be released on PS5), as well as for its policy regarding Day One releases on Game Pass. And Call of Duty is one of those games that interests. Heavily.
It seems that a push notification from the official Game Pass app in Korea has given us a lot of clues as to what’s going to happen with Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6.
As you can see in the image, the push notification says that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released “Day One” on Xbox Game Pass.
World premiere or mistake? We don’t know, but we do know that this message seems to have slipped through someone’s fingers before any other announcement regarding the new CoD and Game Pass.
Stay tuned!
