That’s right, news of a Dark Souls 3 remaster is coming from the XboxEra podcast. On the podcast, Nick ‘Shpeshal_Nick’ Baker confirmed that the game is in development.

Shpeshal_Nick claims to have more information about Dark Souls 3 Remastered, but (surprise) he can’t share it!

As a source, he’s been pretty accurate, and in this particular case we should remember that both Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 2 have ‘remastered’ versions, so it seems quite likely that a remaster of From Software‘s game is on the way.

Whether such a version is necessary is another matter, but on a commercial level, we assume it was already on the roadmap for the Dark Souls series.
