Do you remember the name of Lockhart? Anaconda and Lockhart sound familiar and are part of Project Scarlett. Anaconda, which was “presented” in June by Microsoft should be a machine alike to PlayStation 5 in terms of power, a high-end option. Lockhart, which was reportedly canned time ago, would be a low-end console.
Kotaku, confirmed with their sources, that Lockhart is still a thing in Project Scarlett. Considering the nature of Scarlett we could have:
Lockhart: a low-end console, digital only, cheaper than Anaconda. CPU would be faster than any current game console and would reach to offer 1440p resolution and 60 frames-per-second. Suited to enjoy Xbox Games Pass and Project XCloud.
Anaconda: high-end console. Target in games: 4K resolution and 60 frames-per-second.
Thanks, Kotaku.
