Shin Megami Tensei V, as many of you will know, is one of the big releases for Nintendo Switch this year.
SMTV, announced back in January 2017, was developed by Atlus using Unreal Engine 4 for the first time in the series. It’s actually the first time Atlus has developed under UE in its history.
Developing under Unreal Engine has meant that, through data mining, it has become relatively easy to look at and read the game’s source code… and the result is that, as you can see, references to the PS4 and PC versions of Shin Megami Tensei V have appeared. The code even hints resolution and the quality of the SMTV settings on PS4.
in SMTV’s .uproject, its target platforms are:
Switch
PS4

And finally, SMTV for PC also appeared on the famous Geforce Now list that is bringing us so many firsts…
Does this mean SMTV is coming to PS4 and PC? Not at the moment, and it won’t until Atlus makes an official announcement, but… stay tuned.
