Sonic Colors was originally released for Wii and Nintendo DS back in 2010. Each version was different, being the Nintendo DS specially designed for the use of its two screens.

Now it has come to light that in December, German voice-over studio iksample listed work on a “Sonic Colors Remastered” in its portfolio.
Furthermore, online retailer Sogamely (France) has listed “Sonic Colors Ultimate” for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch with a 2021 release window at a reduced €34.99 price.
