Virtual Reality could be the new black in the industry. Oculus Rift has become one of the most followed gadgets in the last months. Even some users have purchased the devkit version, just for fun. They haven’t been able to wait until the retail version. That’s the hype.

Sony could join the party, if we believe in rumors, Sony should be working on a Virtual Reality peripheral and Santa Monica Studios could be working on something for this new gadget. Ahsan Rasheed, aka Thuway, has dropped a hint about the role of Santa Monica in this topic:

“E3 came and went, the surprise never showed up, I’m beginning to think its the VR headset. I hear Santa Monica is doing something with it.”

Santa Monica could be creating a game compatible with this tech or it could be apps. First of all, Sony should announce this piece of hardware. If we are lucky, maybe the company could hint something in CES.
