Video games: What do the Australians play?

But in 2023, according to the study carried out by IGEA, casual games (board games, card games, and puzzles), which are aimed at occasional players and found particularly on cell phones, will be the most popular. This year, 33% of gamers claim to play this type of game. Candy Crush and Clash of Clans, considered “casual”, are among the best-known. Casual games are particularly appealing to older players and female gamers, who are more numerous than the “Z” generation.
