Silent Hill has been on hiatus for far too long, but the news and rumours surrounding it have not.
After the cancellation of Silent Hills and the removal of P.T. from the PlayStation Store, we had little hope for the series. Even more so with the change in the business model Konami took at the time.
Until now. Konami updated the Silent Hill trademark earlier this month, adding an interesting piece of information in one of its sections. Specifically, the Silent Hill trademark now shows, under the “Product Services” section, this info: “virtual reality headset.”
We already knew rumours indicating an internal restructuring of Konami in 2021 with the intention of producing new titles or remakes of its most important sagas, and Silent Hill would be among them. Moreover, there have been rumors for some time that more than one Silent Hill game is in development.
We’ll have to stay tuned for more Silent Hill news at some point.
