The next Call of Duty game, code named “Blacksmith”, will be announced some time in May, according to info provided by MP1st.
This site says that, in addition to their info, the probability of an unveiling in May is high, considering some of Activision’s previous marketing tactics. Call of Duty: Ghosts surfaced at this exact time last year and Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was unveiled during the NBA Playoffs on May 1, 2012.
CoD: Blacksmith is currently in development at Sledgehammer Games, and the first image of the game was teased last week by IGN. The screenshot showed a highly detailed rendering of a soldier’s face.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know the official name of Call of Duty: Blacksmith.
Stay tuned.
