Today, Minecraft can be played on PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Raspberry Pi and Xbox 360. PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, PS Vita and Xbox One versions are also coming, but we’ve never heard anything about a version for WiiU until now.
According to NintendoEnthusiast, a retailer source has told them that Minecraft will be coming to WiiU in summer 2014. Allegedly, Mojang and 4J Studios (responsible for the console versions) are currently in possession of WiiU dev kits and would be developing the WiiU version along with the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
The source also states that the developer is said to be focusing on the GamePad for the WiiU version.
